Key responsibilities:
1. Record financial transactions: Keep track of all income and expenses by accurately recording them in the accounting system.
2. Prepare financial statements: Generate monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to provide insights into the company's financial health.
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable: Monitor and process invoices from vendors and ensure timely payment, as well as follow up on outstanding customer payments.
4. Reconcile bank statements: Match financial records with bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and maintain the company's budget and forecast future financial performance.
Required skills and expectations:
1. Strong attention to detail: Ability to meticulously record and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy.
2. Proficiency in accounting software: Experience with accounting software to efficiently manage financial transactions.
